We were delighted to announce Wild Things Keyworth as winners of the Environmental Group or Project at this year’s Celebrating Rushcliffe Awards.

Residents, groups and community heroes took their place in a showcase celebration event of the great and good with media partner West Bridgford Wire on December 8 at Rushcliffe Arena.

It celebrated the Borough’s wonderful volunteers, businesses, organisations, environmentalists and the best of its health and wellbeing and food and drink sectors, mindful of the impact COVID-19 has again played on Rushcliffe communities this year.

Wild Things Keyworth are a local community action group working to promote awareness and action for hedgehogs and their welfare. They have attracted national headlines on improving garden interconnectivity for the animals, opening up Keyworth gardens for hogs and other wildlife. Well done and keep up the good work!
